Filtering the Future: Innovative Technologies for Clean Air and Water (EU-GREEN)

After a brief introduction on the importance of treating industrial wastewater and emissions, innovative multi-stage plants for fluid treatment, designed and built within ongoing research projects at the University of Parma, will be presented.

Some of the adopted filtration and purification technologies will be illustrated through material samples provided by the participating research groups. Scale models created with 3D printing will showcase the most advanced stages of the plants, with particular attention to photocatalytic oxidation systems activated by UV radiation.

In addition, the Erasmus+ TECSKILL project will be presented. This initiative involves the University of Parma together with three other EU-GREEN universities: the University of Extremadura, the University of Évora, and the University of Gävle.
